We would like to thank everyone who has participated in our conference during
the past 7 years. At this point we have made a decision to cancel the 2009 conference
that was going to be held at Split Rock Resort
We will post further details about upcoming conference dates if we decide to continue promoting the conference.
We have thought about having the conference every other year but no decision has been made on that at this point.
We understand that for a lot of our attendees this is the only painting event they come to, but for the conference to ever continue we need more people to attend the event and more exhibitors to attend. The painting industry has suffered in the past few years losing many good teachers and exhibitors that just couldn't make enough traveling to events like this. Now with the rising costs of travel along with the rising costs for you to attend the conference we are just not sure which way the future will go. We have a large population here on the east coast but we still had a hard time getting people to come. Not really sure why but hopefully we can figure this out. If you have suggestions or ideas or simply want to let us know you still want the conference drop us an email. This type of input will help us make future decisions.
